Exclude the Mobile Apps from Targeting in Your Display Campaign

The targeting settings for mobile apps have been changed in September 2018. Most of the advertisers are now confused as to how they can exclude the mobile app from their display targeting. Previously, they accomplish it by adding adsenseformobileapps.com as an exclusion in the display campaign, which eventually exclude the mobile apps from their targeting's. 

If you don’t know how to exclude the mobile apps with the new changes, you can follow below steps to exclude them.

• Sign in to your Google Ads account.
• From the navigation panel, click Display campaigns, then select the campaign you want to edit.
• From the page menu, click Settings.
• Click Additional settings.
• Click Devices, then select Set specific targeting for devices. 
• Uncheck the boxes next to “Mobile app”, “Mobile app interstitial”, “Tablet app”, and “Tablet app interstitial”. 
• Click Save and Continue.
